Women’s Introduction to Fly Tying


Friday Morning April 20th 9:00 am – 12:00 pm – $35

Location – Lounge

This workshop is designed for women only as a beginning fly tying workshop or as a refresher course for novice fly tiers. The workshop is taught by some of the top female tiers in the Rocky Mountain area. The workshop covers the basic tools and materials needed to get started. You will tie patterns that are useful for learning basic techniques and CATCH FISH. Come join this unique fly tying experience with other women and learn from some of the best women tiers in the Rocky Mountain region. Tools will be supplied, however if you have tools please bring them.


Women’s Fly Fishing Clinic


Saturday, All Day, April 21st 8:30 am – 3:30 pm – $60

Location – Sandpiper Restaurant – Lunch Included

This workshop will be outdoors. Please wear appropriate clothing. Bring rain jacket.

This workshop will be a day-long workshop for women who want to learn the basic skills involved in successful fly fishing or to improve their skills to the intermediate level. The workshop will cover a few basis casting strokes, equipment, knots and entomology. Rods and reels will be provided if needed. The women who teach this workshop bring over 40 years of guiding and teaching fly fishing, They bring an approach that is uniquely suited to women who want to learn or improve their fly fishing skills. You will be outside casting, so dress accordingly with warm clothing, rain jacket, hat and sunglasses. Lunch will be included.
